Video Conferencing Services



Video conferencing is a form of two-way transmission containing voice, video and data between two different locations as if the users are communicating in the same place. Audio and visual transmission activities can also be implemented with additional functions such as document sharing, computer display and virtual screens.

The video conferencing services offered are divided into two methods, namely video conferencing services using hardware and video conferencing using software.

1. Video conferencing using hardware

The use of video conferencing equipment (H.323 terminals) such as Aethra, LifeSize, Radvision and Yealink. This tool can be used to communicate via video conference between UPM Serdang Campus and external agencies that use the H.323 protocol standard.

2. Video conferencing using software

Video conferencing room services equipped with cameras and microphones for use with video conferencing software specified by the user as agreed in the submitted application. Video conference software that users often use are such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom. For software that requires a license, users need to subscribe to the license themselves.
